Beschreibung
I see myself as a queer ally and advocate for discrimination-free and respectful medical care. During my work in a large HIV-specialized practice, I realized that there are still care gaps in outpatient treatment—particularly for people living with HIV, PrEP users, patients with hepatitis, as well as trans and non-binary people.
From this experience, I developed the desire to help close these gaps—at least in part—and to contribute to medical care that respects people in all their diversity, with commitment, openness, and professional expertise.
I am especially looking forward to advancing outpatient infectious disease medicine and contributing to trans-affirmative health care. It is important to me that patients feel seen, understood, and safe with us—regardless of their background, identity, or life story.
